After a rather tough play, Forza Heppenbach's Primitivo Taner got a free kick in the 5th minute. Forza Heppenbach's Hans-Joachim Amerhauser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Hesseling in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Ciolofan in the 9th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forza Heppenbach were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Verwachting's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brent Desmet took the corner. After taking down the ball on Forza Heppenbach's corner Brent Desmet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Herbert Hilhorst quite easily take care of the ball. Herbert Hilhorst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Michael Almqvist went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Forza Heppenbach's Karl-Michael Almqvist in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Karl-Michael Almqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forza Heppenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Almqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Hilhorst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th match minute, Forza Heppenbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibaut Pauwels to maneuver through the defense. Ruben de Wolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Hilhorst having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Forza Heppenbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristen Van Den Eijnde to maneuver through the defense. Forza Heppenbach's Hans-Joachim Amerhauser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Forza Heppenbach from getting a goal against them. In the 38th match minute, Forza Heppenbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Ciolofan to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Hans Deitmers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hans-Joachim Amerhauser. That made the score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. Genaro Maiorga lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 45 minutes into the game, one of Forza Heppenbach:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Christijan Schreuder's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben de Wolf made a kick off. Christijan Schreuder scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans-Joachim Amerhauser, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben de Wolf came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Ruud Geels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Verwachting's zone, Stephan Appiah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Hilhorst came out of the goal and Stephan Appiah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Verwachting getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Leendert Dekker hit a great ball. Kristen Van Den Eijnde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Hilhorst having to interfere. In the 76th minute Adriaan Kuypers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Joachim Amerhauser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Hilhorst was a little too slow when Ruben de Wolf got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben de Wolf in the 82nd minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Verwachting from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Verwachting booed when Forza Heppenbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibaut Pauwels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver van Kampen in the 92nd minute of play. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben de Wolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
