In the 3rd minute, Celedonio Isidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emil Kyurpanov made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KFC Cromvelde's Herman Frans. In the 8th minute Robin Boelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 9th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Boelens in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Robin Boelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Boelens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mathijs Rokeloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute of the match, Mathijs Rokeloos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Wessel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 19th minute of play. Frank de Boer hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathijs Rokeloos. 27 minutes into the match, Mathijs Rokeloos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan Wessel, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 30th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank de Boer kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Mathijs Rokeloos came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match KFC Cromvelde got a corner. The Underdogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matthias Wauters ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Matthias Wauters got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Wessel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute, Celedonio Isidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's Iustin Hațegan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to KFC Cromvelde getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cosmin Contra hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Dolf Schoonderwoerd came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathijs Rokeloos was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's Matthias Wauters sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Wessel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iustin Hațegan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jean-Louis Van Bever made a huge save. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Boelens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Boelens scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Louis Van Bever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Iustin Hațegan sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Louis Van Bever made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 71st minute. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save KFC Cromvelde from getting a goal against them. Mathijs Rokeloos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Wessel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Cromvelde from getting a goal against them. Jean-Louis Van Bever made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin Boelens in the 82nd minute. KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 was substituted for Mathijs Rokeloos. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé 武松 in the 88th minute of play. Robin Boelens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jean-Louis Van Bever made a huge save. The Underdogs's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because KFC Cromvelde had won, even though The Underdogs had held more of the ball.
