With a little luck, Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp got control of the ball when Fred Vanderhaege tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Fred Vanderhaege managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pezerik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Vanderhaege was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Romário Molina came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Young Ostend United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Molina couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Young Ostend United getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Frankie Koval hit a great ball. If Gustaaf Van Dyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Rutgeerts in the 33rd minute of play. Jacob Vrancx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Molina, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Octavian Rutgeerts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stanny Van Gorp. Octavian Rutgeerts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Fred Vanderhaege received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Stanny Van Gorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fred Vanderhaege made the kick off in the second half. Jacob Vrancx made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Romário Molina sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Rutgeerts in the 52nd minute of play forced Young Ostend United's goalkeeper Stanny Van Gorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pezerik's Jacob Vrancx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Pezerik from getting a goal against them. Stanny Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Van Dyck in the 57th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Pezerik's goalkeeper Jacob Vrancx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário Molina. 秦昂平 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jacob Vrancx made a huge save. Alain Wans kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Fred Vanderhaege got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Young Ostend United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pezerik.
