The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Davus. 3 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Carberry came free, but Freddy Tilens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Litenboks in the 8th minute of play. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shaun McLae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Axel Davus took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Waud De Geyter to make any attempt to save it. Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 29th minute of play. Axel Davus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Waud De Geyter made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 37th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Paiva hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Shaun McLae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waud De Geyter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Conincx in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Van Caubergen in the 56th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Davus scored 3-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waud De Geyter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Davus in the 93rd minute of play. KFC Paal-Tervant's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
