With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinard Hennes in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Vrancx saved Pezerik from getting behind. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pezerik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lennart De Coster was slow to take the kick. During this time Twelve Ravens's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Twelve Ravens's corner Lennart De Coster fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacob Vrancx quite easily take care of the ball. Roland Vanden Broucke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Van Bever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Vanden Broucke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Vanderhaege, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Pierre Van Hinnendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Vrancx having to interfere. Fred Vanderhaege came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roland Vanden Broucke could save by the left post. Jacob Vrancx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yanick Goosens, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinard Hennes in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Vrancx saved Pezerik from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Pezerik's Roland Vanden Broucke threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wart Goegebeur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ismael Marques lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 38 minutes into the game, one of Pezerik:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A nice corner shot did that Pierre Van Hinnendael got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacob Vrancx quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 44th minute Reinard Hennes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Vrancx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wart Goegebeur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Roland Vanden Broucke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Wart Goegebeur notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke. Roland Vanden Broucke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Pezerik getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sylvan Tombeurs hit a great ball. Twelve Ravens made a substitution. Jamie Figaro replaced Reinard Hennes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Van Bever in the 73rd minute of play forced Twelve Ravens's goalkeeper Roland Vanden Broucke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pezerik's zone, Tibor Van Bever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Vrancx came out of the goal and Tibor Van Bever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wart Goegebeur hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Pezerik's Jacob Vrancx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamie Figaro in the 80th minute of play. Jamie Figaro took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacob Vrancx. Jacob Vrancx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Jelle Temmerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89thth minute of the game Wart Goegebeur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Pezerik were awarded a corner. Jelle Temmerman went to the cornerflag to take it. The Twelve Ravens supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Twelve Ravens would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
