Robertinho Carabajal might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Tilens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robertinho Carabajal ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Davus in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Steven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tang Di Nan in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of AFC Koolkerke booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaun McLae didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes AFC Koolkerke got a freekick which was hit by Robertinho Carabajal. Ulises Steven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 25th minute of play. Freddy Tilens came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal. But to his dismay, Robertinho Carabajal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Davus in the 40th minute of the match. Shaun McLae made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC Koolkerke's Víktor Veloso. The audience was convinced that Robertinho Carabajal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Tilens was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Robertinho Carabajal sped through KFC Paal-Tervant's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddy Tilens. In the 46thth minute of the game Robertinho Carabajal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Robertinho Carabajal made the kick off in the second half. Robertinho Carabajal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tang Di Nan in the 59th minute of play. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Huijghens in the 63rd minute of play. AFC Koolkerke's Víktor Veloso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Shaun McLae, made in the 66th minute of the game. After 72 played minutes AFC Koolkerke got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Smits. In the 75th minute, 林林光 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddy Tilens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when AFC Koolkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes of play, KFC Paal-Tervant's William Huijghens made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Steven was left in no man's land by his defense there! AFC Koolkerke's Joseph Smits managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Shaun McLae in the 94 minute of the game. KFC Paal-Tervant's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
