Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jason Asselberghs kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Izydor Czysta got free with Stanny Van Gorp in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanny Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 8th minute of play. Romário Molina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Young Ostend United's Jason Asselberghs in 10 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Waud De Geyter guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 13th minute of the match Silver Squad AFC got a corner. Young Ostend United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrik Ooms ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Young Ostend United's goalie and right to Loid De Keuster. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Young Ostend United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 15 minutes into the match, Young Ostend United's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Van Caubergen came free, but Stanny Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waud De Geyter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Wans in the 18th minute of the match. Frans Van Caubergen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stanny Van Gorp firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Young Ostend United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Leontin Vârșan hit a great ball. Benjamin Carberry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Stanny Van Gorp made a huge save. Jason Asselberghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Rogério Paiva with Frans Van Caubergen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Carberry was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Loid De Keuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, Silver Squad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Van Caubergen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fryderyk Mondrowski hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Young Ostend United got a freekick which was hit by Romário Molina. In the 57th minute Benjamin Carberry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Radzyminski in the 60th minute of play forced Young Ostend United's goalkeeper Stanny Van Gorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Benjamin Carberry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Silver Squad AFC's Laurence Soens got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Stanny Van Gorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Radzyminski, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes Silver Squad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Frans Van Caubergen. Joppe Van Goitsenhoven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waud De Geyter having to make a save. 72 minutes into the game, Jason Asselberghs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waud De Geyter. Jason Asselberghs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 75th minute, Damazy Radzyminski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silver Squad AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Manuel Roukeloes hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Joppe Van Goitsenhoven kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Carberry in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanny Van Gorp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Romário Molina could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Waud De Geyter however easily saved by the left post. After 87 played minutes Young Ostend United got a freekick which was hit by Alain Wans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joppe Van Goitsenhoven in the 91st minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes, Laurence Soens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Squad AFC and the Young Ostend United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laurence Soens hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Filip Joks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Waud De Geyter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
