Landulfos FC's Flávio de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Landulfos FC from getting a goal against them. Nova Venécia-ES's Robinho de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Napoleone in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Landulfos FC were awarded a corner. Dedê Fonseca went to the cornerflag to take it. Pedrão Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robinho de Salles having to make a save. A collision led to Nova Venécia-ES getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dino Tavares hit a great ball. Pedrão Pereira took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho de Salles. Robinho de Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Flávio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Landulfos FC's Flávio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Natã Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robinho de Salles came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira. But to his dismay, Pedrão Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Robinho de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Pereira in the 29th minute of play. Robinho de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flávio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Tavares in the 35th minute of the match. Gonsalve Alabern kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Pedrão Pereira struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Robinho de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Landulfos FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrea Napoleone during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Landulfos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Napoleone to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Landulfos FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Instead of passing the ball, Valdo Diniz made a really hard long shot towards goal. Landulfos FC's Flávio de Azevedo realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. The wind increased when Pedrão Pereira made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrão Pereira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robinho de Salles. That made the score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. Landulfos FC's Naldo da Silveira was substituted for Emílio Maciel. After a rather tough play, Nova Venécia-ES's Severino Maia got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Nova Venécia-ES's Robinho de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Pereira in the 65th minute of play. Landulfos FC's Andrea Napoleone got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Quintal in the 70th minute of play forced Landulfos FC's goalkeeper Flávio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andrea Napoleone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flávio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã Quintal's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Pedrão Pereira hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonsalve Alabern to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Dino Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flávio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Tavares in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Landulfos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdo Diniz was slow to take the kick. During this time Nova Venécia-ES's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Valdo Diniz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flávio de Azevedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 87th minute Dino Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Landulfos FC's Flávio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Gonsalve Alabern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
