Pedrão Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Pinheiro having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Pedrão Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fábio Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Christian Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Pereira came free, but Fábio Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 31st match minute, Gremio NG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Pedrão Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrão Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. Fábio Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Pereira in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gremio NG's Christian Figueiredo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Napoleone in the 38th minute of play. Flávio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Travassos in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Pedrão Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fábio Pinheiro. Gremio NG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrão Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Délio Adam fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landulfos FC's protests and gave Délio Adam a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Landulfos FC made a substitution. Matheus Vaz replaced Dedê Fonseca. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júnior Quintana made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Matheus Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landulfos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flávio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Quintana in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th minute, Júnior Quintana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flávio de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Pedrão Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedrão Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fábio Pinheiro having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Andrea Napoleone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landulfos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Napoleone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedrão Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fábio Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Dino do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedrão Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrão Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrão Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Gremio NG from getting a goal against them. When Andrea Napoleone came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Landulfos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea Napoleone couldn't finish the play.
