Fábio Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. When Diamante Negro DK - VV's Willian Félix in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gremio NG's goalie prevented a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fábio Pinheiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Vinícius Servaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fábio Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Victor Silva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hélder Antunes, made in the 25th minute of the game. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Diamante Negro DK - VV from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino do Vale in the 30th minute of play forced Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Servaes came free, but Fábio Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 35th minute of the match. Umberto Lara's late challenge caught a Gremio NG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Umberto Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Umberto Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Willian Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fábio Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Vinícius Servaes made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Pinheiro. Gremio NG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Servaes to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Vinícius Servaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sandrinho Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Servaes came free, but Fábio Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Vinícius Servaes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fábio Pinheiro. Vinícius Servaes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Servaes in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Pinheiro saved Gremio NG from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Servaes in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Gremio NG getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dino do Vale hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Gremio NG got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Oliveira. A hard shot by Christian Antonelli from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Fábio Pinheiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gremio NG's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66thth minute of the game Vinícius Servaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fábio Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes. But to his dismay, Vinícius Servaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Vinícius Servaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Servaes in the 71st minute of play. Vinícius Servaes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fábio Pinheiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Vinícius Servaes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 74th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Servaes came free, but Fábio Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamante Negro DK - VV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christian Antonelli in the 82nd minute. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Christian Antonelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fábio Pinheiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio NG's zone, Vinícius Servaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Pinheiro came out of the goal and Vinícius Servaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Travassos came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinícius Servaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the game, Vinícius Servaes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Fábio Pinheiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vinícius Servaes scored 0-9 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fábio Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Gremio NG fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Diamante Negro DK - VV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
