When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Luís Gustavo Botelho sped through Gremio NG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fábio Pinheiro. Natã Quintal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Fábio Pinheiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute Nova Venécia-ES were awarded a corner. Valdo Diniz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gremio NG's goalie and right to Leonel Paranaense. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gremio NG's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Natã Quintals short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Fábio Pinheiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Natã Quintal took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Fábio Pinheiro to make any attempt to save it. Fábio Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Quintal in the 37th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natã Quintal in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Pinheiro saved Gremio NG from getting behind. Nova Venécia-ES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdo Diniz in the 40th minute. A nice corner shot did that Valdo Diniz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fábio Pinheiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 42nd minute Natã Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nova Venécia-ES getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Severino Maia hit a great ball.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Quintal in the 61st minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Natã Quintal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fábio Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Quintal came free, but Fábio Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute.
