The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basílio do Valle was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicenza's Emiliano Talone slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nilson Dracena. That made the score 0-5 after 51 minutes of play.
