In the 2nd minute, Roman Koenig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feng Chao Wei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Elliott Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A. Francana's supporters rose to their feet, but Elliott Bergsten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feng Chao Wei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7thth minute of the game Saul Goodman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Saul Goodman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Melo was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Charlie Boström notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei. Feng Chao Wei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17thth minute of the game Saul Goodman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feng Chao Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Koenig, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes Villa Verde FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Francisco Secco who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on A.A. Francana's corner Joel Campos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Feng Chao Wei quite easily take care of the ball. Renan Melo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Saul Goodman sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the game, Saul Goodman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Renan Melo. Saul Goodman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Boström in the 27th minute of play. Saul Goodman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.A. Francana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erivaldo Borges was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Verde FC's players had a chance to rest. Erivaldo Borges made a great header on Villa Verde FC's corner, it was just that A.A. Francana's Renan Melo managed to reach the ball for a save. 38 minutes into the match, Saul Goodman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renan Melo. A.A. Francana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Goodman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Francisco Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feng Chao Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Caetano Pique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Goodman might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Goodman ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Goodman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei got control of the ball when Charlie Boström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Villa Verde FC got a corner. A.A. Francana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erivaldo Borges ran over to the corner to take the kick. Renan Melo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Verde FC's Luís Guilherme Cearense. But to his dismay, Luís Guilherme Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Villa Verde FC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after A.A. Francana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erivaldo Borges took the corner. The corner led Villa Verde FC's Erivaldo Borges to fire away a dangerous shot which Renan Melo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 74th minute, Luís Guilherme Cearense made a precise shot to the right of Renan Melo. A.A. Francana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 79 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Cearense came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alexsandro Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Villa Verde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Garcia couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Hermes. The audience was convinced that Luís Guilherme Cearense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Melo was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Villa Verde FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
