The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Saul Goodman sped through Club Athletico Paulistano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Acácio Lara. 6 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Goodman came free, but Acácio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Trancoso came free, but Feng Chao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Ale Speed made a precise shot to the right of Acácio Lara. Club Athletico Paulistano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 15th minute, Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Trancoso in the 21st minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Goodman came free, but Acácio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Goodman in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Acácio Lara saved Club Athletico Paulistano from getting behind. Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman managed to work through Club Athletico Paulistano's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Saul Goodman dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Haakon Brøndsel kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabinho dos Santos made a kick off. Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Goodman, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Acácio Lara came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman. But to his dismay, Saul Goodman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 60 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Goodman came free, but Acácio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haakon Brøndsel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Luís Guilherme Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Villa Verde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Guilherme Cearense couldn't finish the play. After 66 played minutes Club Athletico Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Mendes. Eliseu Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luís Guilherme Cearense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Acácio Lara was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 70thth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Cearense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zé Paulo de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Club Athletico Paulistano getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Glauco da Rocha hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Cearense came free, but Acácio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feng Chao Wei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseu Mendes in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villa Verde FC's Belmiro Borges. Villa Verde FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
