Benedito Domingues hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan-Ramón Verón came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Benedito Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caatiba MZC and the Berserkers FC Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Caatiba MZC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Benedito Domingues hit a great ball. Ramiro Gabrio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 36th minute. If Juan-Ramón Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ergo Muro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Victor Trigo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro did a great save. Caatiba MZC's Benedito Domingues got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Benedito Domingues off the ground. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niceto Ihazintu was the one to do the kick off. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 61st minute of the match. Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli was substituted for Juan-Ramón Verón. After 63 minutes Berserkers FC Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Henrique who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Caatiba MZC's Jorge Henrique to fire away a dangerous shot which Ramiro Gabrio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th minute, Niceto Ihazintu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caatiba MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ergo Muro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ramiro Gabrio came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu. But to his dismay, Niceto Ihazintu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 83rd minute of the match. If Juan Ignacio Circelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ergo Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
