Alfredo Paraibano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FÊNIX F.C. booed when RAMBO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Cumpan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Benvide Cercalde tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredo Paraibano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The throw-in from Marcinho Arce in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RAMBO FC's Polo Laime. Alfredo Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benvide Cercalde in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benvide Cercalde in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Paraibano saved FÊNIX F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benvide Cercalde in the 21st minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Alfredo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheche Bellogin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. FÊNIX F.C.'s Alfredo Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheche Bellogin in the 23rd minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Bengt Bouchard managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alfredo Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benvide Cercalde in the 53rd minute of the match. Bengt Bouchard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benvide Cercalde in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Paraibano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Benvide Cercalde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Paraibano was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 66th minute Benvide Cercalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Bouchard in the 73rd minute. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RAMBO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FÊNIX F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
