The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Bouchard got free with Robinho de Sena in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 de Março FC's Robinho de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Moreno in the 11th minute of play. Bengt Bouchard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robinho de Sena having to make a save. FÊNIX F.C.'s João Paulo Prata quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anísio Gomes, made in the 15th minute of the game. If Joakim Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Kauã Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22ndth minute of the game Bengt Bouchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 20 de Março FC's Robinho de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kauã Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danial Benson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Bakar came free, but Damian Fetor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho de Sena came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FÊNIX F.C.'s Bengt Bouchard. But to his dismay, Bengt Bouchard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Danial Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th match minute, FÊNIX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes, 20 de Março FC's Danial Benson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damian Fetor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 20 de Março FC reached it. If Bengt Bouchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anísio Gomes made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FÊNIX F.C.'s Kauã Moreno. Robinho de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Moreno in the 44th minute of the match. FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Bakar in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt Bouchard was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Danial Benson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Fetor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bengt Bouchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Robinho de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kauã Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FÊNIX F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Moreno couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Bengt Bouchard made a precise shot to the right of Robinho de Sena. 20 de Março FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Kauã Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FÊNIX F.C.'s Genílson Ferraz was substituted for João Carlos Medeiros. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Aníbal Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. 20 de Março FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Fetor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute of the game Anísio Gomes made a throw-in which Edward Fenieux played forward. With a little luck, FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor got control of the ball when Joakim Nyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FÊNIX F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while 20 de Março FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
