Luís Guilherme Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Hooker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juvenal Talló showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fagondo Vasquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by BRASIL.Sp's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gao Jian Jie was slow to take the kick. During this time Bene Animatus's players had a chance to rest. Luís Guilherme Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Hooker, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jardel Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bene Animatus's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Guilherme Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Hooker came free, but Luís Guilherme Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jardel Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Luís Guilherme Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elói Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juvenal Talló came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by BRASIL.Sp's Eusébio Barros. But to his dismay, Eusébio Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in BRASIL.Sp's zone, Jardel Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Guilherme Marques came out of the goal and Jardel Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Bene Animatus's Luís Guilherme Marques threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Hooker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leandro Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luís Guilherme Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fagondo Vasquez to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Simon Hooker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fagondo Vasquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juvenal Talló having to make a save. The supporters of Bene Animatus booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Croisé didn't get a good kick on the ball. BRASIL.Sp made a substitution. Almir Matos replaced Guilherme Dantas. In the 58th minute, Bart Croisé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Velloso came free, but Luís Guilherme Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Talló made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Fagondo Vasquez sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Almir Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Talló saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's goalkeeper Juvenal Talló had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Almir Matos. With a little luck, Bene Animatus's Juvenal Talló got control of the ball when Almir Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Velloso in the 73rd minute of play forced BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almir Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute of the match, Eusébio Barros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juvenal Talló saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Almir Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Juvenal Talló tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Jardel Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Gao Jian Jie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Sílvio Luís Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of BRASIL.Sp were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bene Animatus side.
