The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Gabriel Damião during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marquinhos Teixeira went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marquinhos Teixeira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacek Matuch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard and well directed shot from Marquinhos Teixeira led 73 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Éthan Pichard in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Fetor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FÊNIX F.C. booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Schulten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Moreno in the 80th minute of play. If Teodor Covaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bengt Bouchard might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacek Matuch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt Bouchard ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute Bengt Bouchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Damian Fetor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The FÊNIX F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
