The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Söderberg got free with Edgar Trigo in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Holger Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Stenman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Stenman in the 6th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Bremming in the 11th minute of play. Barrenta SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agustín Tastzian in the 14th minute. Barrenta SC's Nariman Mansourian was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Holger Vester in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 16thth minute of the game Celedonio Dominguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Lago in the 18th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Stenman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Edgar Trigo managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Hammarby IF's Francesco Totti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 90th minute, Agustín Tastzian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Söderberg in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Tastzian came free, but Holger Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Barrenta SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
