A.D Leônico's André Luiz de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes in the game Andriy Shevchenko did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vatan Kambay. In the 11th minute Tony Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in A.D Leônico's zone, Corneliu Dridu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz de Barros came out of the goal and Corneliu Dridu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andriy Shevchenko hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cosme Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Donato in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Corneliu Dridu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dr Lecter SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Corneliu Dridu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luiz de Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Tony Mendes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dr Lecter SC's Cosme Pere. Cosme Pere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Corneliu Dridu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Andriy Shevchenko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cosme Pere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes in the game Antoni Piatek did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vatan Kambay. Andriy Shevchenko kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Dr Lecter SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A.D Leônico were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andriy Shevchenko to make the kick off. Andriy Shevchenko took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Pere. Cosme Pere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dr Lecter SC's Cosme Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Mendes in the 60th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Mendes came free, but Cosme Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andriy Shevchenko in the 61st minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Cosme Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of A.D Leônico booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Dridu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andriy Shevchenko in the 63rd minute of the match.
