In the 33rd minute Geovanni Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Gonza made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Aníbal Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. Vasco Arruabarrena hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Natalio Centenales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Seaman having to interfere. With 42 minutes on the clock, Pompiliu Poalelungi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Feng Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Natalio Centenales notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Jenipapo SC's David Seaman. David Seaman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Junior to make the kick off. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when Família Ressaca MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Laureys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Baptista in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Família Ressaca MZ's zone, Raphael Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Gonza came out of the goal and Raphael Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Feng Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Natalio Centenales could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which David Seaman however easily saved by the left post. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86thth minute of the game Raphael Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Família Ressaca MZ's Cleto Gonza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natalio Centenales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but David Seaman made a huge save. Raphael Cunha took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cleto Gonza. Cleto Gonza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 93rd minute Geovanni Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Junior to maneuver through the defense.
