In the 10th minute, Grêmio RK75's Baltazar Filho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelinho Barral. Marcelinho Barral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. João Francisco Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Speed in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Tronconi came free, but Marcelinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Grêmio RK75 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kaká Brasil hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hulk Speed to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Paulo Trevisan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Roceira SC's Válter Fontes was substituted for Ksawery Winnicki. The supporters of Grêmio RK75 booed when Roceira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Válter Fontess short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got João Francisco Tinoco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
