Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Niceto Xacintu kicked off to start the match. Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Flying Dutch from getting a goal against them. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Godoi in the 4th minute of the match. 4 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 6th minute, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Paulo Romero. Luís Paulo Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido de Medeiros in the 14th minute of play. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Shen Fan Shu with Basilio Lain as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Paulo Romero. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Ivașcu in the 22nd minute of the match. Luís Paulo Romero made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Paulo Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Raymundo in the 29th minute of play. Paulo Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Paulo Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Godoi got free with Luís Paulo Romero in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Xacintu in the 40th minute of play. Paulo Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Dutch's zone, Paulo Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Romero came out of the goal and Paulo Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palestra do Interior's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hudson Sergipano in the 47th minute. The corner ended in Percival Cruz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Godoi in the 60th minute of the match. Allan Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Ivașcu in the 62nd minute. Shen Fan Shu's late challenge caught a Palestra do Interior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shen Fan Shu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Flying Dutch's Shen Fan Shu got a free kick in the 64th minute. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Niclas Danielsson replaced Hudson Sergipano. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when Flying Dutch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shen Fan Shu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Paulo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Paulo Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Cido de Medeiros. After 82 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Cido de Medeiros. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Xacintu in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Paulo Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vitório Lago might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Paulo Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitório Lago ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shen Fan Shu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Vitório Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitório Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulo Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
