Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Godoi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Godoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Amor. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Sroki. Paulo Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Norbert Sroki in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Palestra do Interior's Herbert Pankowski. Melquiades Amor made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Paulo Godoi sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Godoi. Norbert Sroki hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Melquiades Amor came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi. But to his dismay, Paulo Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Herbert Pankowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Amor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felippe Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Amor. Melquiades Amor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arí Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, one of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. 66 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Norbert Sroki with Facundo Guerrero as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Melquiades Amor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitório Lago's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Amor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82ndth minute of the game Vitório Lago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Vitório Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Lago came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitório Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Lago came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Lago in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Lago in the 96th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Eugênio Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palestra do Interior's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
