João Francisco Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A hard shot by Agostinho de Carvalho from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got João Francisco Loyola's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Papunhas EC's zone, Bater Cuca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Nazario Serre came out of the goal and Bater Cuca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes, Inácio Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papunhas EC and the ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inácio Matorin hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Elói Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papunhas EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bater Cuca in the 86th minute of play.
