Alysson Rezende was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Ale Speed capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ale Speed really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Basso in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 minutes Ogro F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erivaldo Borges who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Villa Verde FC's Florian Wydrych getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Igor Cavalera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feng Chao Wei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Vergílio came free, but Feng Chao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner. Jerônimo Vergílio went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feng Chao Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Van Halen in the 34th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Igor Cavalera made a precise shot to the right of Feng Chao Wei. Villa Verde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s João Barone got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 47 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by João Barone. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Erivaldo Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erivaldo Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alysson Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Goodman made a kick off. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Du Yue Yun with Ale Speed as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Villa Verde FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Du Yue Yun hit a great ball. Villa Verde FC's Luís Guilherme Cearense was substituted for Saul Goodman. After 59 played minutes Villa Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Du Yue Yun. Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Villa Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Du Yue Yun. Feng Chao Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cavalera, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Marco Minnemann replaced Igor Cavalera. In the 85th minute Erivaldo Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Villa Verde FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ogro F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
