The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Goodman to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar da Rocha. Gilmar da Rocha made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Villa Verde FC's Du Yue Yun. In the 56th minute, Saul Goodman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Genílson Leite replaced Urban Stenman. Villa Verde FC's Luís Guilherme Cearense was substituted for Saul Goodman. Edgar Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cearense in the 95th minute of play. The Villa Verde FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa Verde FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
