La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens suffered a sore foot after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Argenis Garay during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Mapovihesa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argenis Garay to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Kálmán Pádár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Usain Bolt in the 31st minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Basilio Cugat came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the La Bichineta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Cugat couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Usain Bolt, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Basilio Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Bichineta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Cugat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Mapovihesa FC got a freekick which was hit by Kent Saka. In the 46th minute Usain Bolt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Cugat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Usain Bolt got free with Silvestre Peli in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Usain Bolt in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Peli saved La Bichineta from getting behind. If Usain Bolt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kálmán Pádár came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvestre Peli could save by the left post. Mapovihesa FC's Raimundo Erramu was substituted for Usain Bolt. If Marcial Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli got control of the ball when Marcial Iratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kálmán Pádár's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Peli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to La Bichineta getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Timoteo Izel hit a great ball. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Erramu in the 84th minute of play. With his leg Silvestre Peli managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Mapovihesa FC's Jerzy Wojno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 87 minutes La Bichineta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kálmán Pádár who took care of the corner kick. When Facundo Gay fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mapovihesa FC's protests and gave Facundo Gay a yellow card for diving instead. Facundo Gay kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A hard shot 96 in the game by Raimundo Erramu from a close distance when the talented Silvestre Peli managed to make a qualified save. La Bichineta's players were relieved. Despite being the better team, Mapovihesa FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
