An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Chen in the 5th minute of play forced KINGS FC's goalkeeper Leal Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Micaelense's Gervásio Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Micaelense from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Cássio Calçada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gervásio Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 22 minutes, Zoltán Tálas made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Micaelense's Gervásio Sousa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Klaus Van Mellart's late challenge caught a KINGS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klaus Van Mellart helped the player get up and apologised. KINGS FC's Ant Yankı was substituted for Otto Sosa. In the 34th minute, Klaus Van Mellart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KINGS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cássio Calçada in the 58th minute. Gervásio Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Tálas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gervásio Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Tálas went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Atlético Micaelense's 杨国洲 was substituted for Vítor Resende. Palmiro Bettencourt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Leal Simões when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
