Selahaddin Esentürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Caeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VB-Team were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after AMLUCHO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Álvaro Rezende took the corner. After 13 minutes, Shao Kun Yuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VB-Team and the AMLUCHO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Shao Kun Yuan hit a great ball. Jackie Banks, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of VB-Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AMLUCHO:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerim Altunbaş got free with Armindo Salgado in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, VB-Team's Armindo Salgado got control of the ball when Kerim Altunbaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Joaquim de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AMLUCHO's Selahaddin Esentürk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerim Altunbaş in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armindo Salgado saved VB-Team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerim Altunbaş got free with Armindo Salgado in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Kerim Altunbaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Salgado having to interfere. Selahaddin Esentürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kerim Altunbaş to strike the kick off in the second half. Armindo Salgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kerim Altunbaş went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Kerim Altunbaş came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the AMLUCHO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerim Altunbaş couldn't finish the play. Selahaddin Esentürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Nélson Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nélson Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. VB-Team made a substitution. Yu Ke Hong replaced Shao Kun Yuan. Gervásio Severiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Selahaddin Esentürk made a huge save. AMLUCHO's Selahaddin Esentürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Caeiro in the 73rd minute of play. Selahaddin Esentürk made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Joaquim de Barros sent off a good shot on target. AMLUCHO's Selahaddin Esentürk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save AMLUCHO from getting a goal against them. Arthur Guerra's late challenge caught a AMLUCHO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 80th minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selahaddin Esentürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Mati Magen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Salgado. Mati Magen might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armindo Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mati Magen ran back to his position shaking his head. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mati Magen in the 86th minute of play. AMLUCHO's Miguel Vilarinho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arthur Guerra in the 87 minute of the game. If Luís Caeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AMLUCHO's Selahaddin Esentürk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save AMLUCHO from getting a goal against them.
