Joacim First took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bóas Pernas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Siöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Péter Mészáros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Paços de Ferreira from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, F.C. Holger Siöberg took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Péter Mészáros. Péter Mészáros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when José Bomba made the kick off in the second half. Joacim First came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Bóas Pernas. But to his dismay, Bóas Pernas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Péter Mészáros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Rosen in the 58th minute of play. José Bomba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. Pinhote FC's Joacim First proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Pinhote FC from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Joacim First successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joacim First had great luck who in the 94thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bóas Pernas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Sílvio Luís Ceresso put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Péter Mészáros.
