Paços de Ferreira's Igor Tudor got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, José Bomba dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Long Gang Sen, 1-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugeniusz Sanocki couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Eugeniusz Sanocki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Long Gang Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Bomba in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Eugeniusz Sanocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Mészáros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of F.C. Paços de Ferreira booed when FC Fura Balizas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Azeari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
