Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Renato Aragão got the match started through his kick off. Piao FC's Durval Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Duarte in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Golo Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Durval Soares was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Ulisses Duarte got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Gaspar Vilas Boas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Reinaldo Carrasqueira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Duarte Duarte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Piao FC's Mateus Casado got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Piao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Giöck came free, but Durval Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when Piao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Vilas Boas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulisses Duarte's late challenge caught a Piao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Gaspar Vilas Boas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Daniel Podwojski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Podwojski couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Pedro Damásio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Duarte in the 22nd minute of play. Daniel Podwojski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durval Soares having to make a save. In the 25th minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Diego Quadros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Diego Quadros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Diego Quadros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Durval Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Podwojski went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte got control of the ball when Renato Aragão tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Aragão got free with Duarte Duarte in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Giöck was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Podwojski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Damásio in the 56th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Damásio in the 56th minute of the match. Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Damásio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57thth minute of the game Pedro Damásio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Aragão in the 59th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Vilas Boas in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Daniel Podwojski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aristides Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piao FC's protests and gave Aristides Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Piao FC's Aristides Alcântara got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ernst Giöck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Soares having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Damásio came free, but Duarte Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piao FC's Durval Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Piao FC from getting a goal against them. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Aragão in the 75th minute of play. When CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Daniel Podwojski in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piao FC's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Podwojski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Podwojski scored 2-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Durval Soares made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gustavo Brás sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Piao FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aquiles Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Aquiles Duarte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Piao FC's Durval Soares did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Podwojski in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
