Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Bomba started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joacim First was left in no man's land by his defense there! When José Bomba came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Bomba couldn't finish the play. Nino Moi's late challenge caught a Pinhote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nino Moi helped the player get up and apologised. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Péter Mészáros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Pinhote FC booed when F.C. Paços de Ferreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bóas Pernas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Holger Siöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Mészáros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Ceresso came free, but Péter Mészáros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Péter Mészáros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holger Siöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st play minute Bóas Pernas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joacim First. 2-0. Joacim First made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Bomba in the 44th minute of play. Péter Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Rosen in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Holger Siöberg made the kick off in the second half. Péter Mészáros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sílvio Luís Ceresso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 59 minute of play. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Inácio Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joacim First came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba. But to his dismay, José Bomba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Péter Mészáros had great luck who in the 71stth minute grab hold of the ball when Holger Siöberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Emin Sağan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Joacim First tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Bomba came free, but Joacim First reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Emin Sağan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pinhote FC's Joacim First did a great save. In the 83rd minute F.C. Paços de Ferreira were awarded a corner. Igor Tudor went to the cornerflag to take it. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Igor Tudor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joacim First in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Péter Mészáros made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Waldemar Rosen sent off a good shot on target. José Bomba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joacim First read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Sílvio Luís Ceresso scored 3-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Péter Mészáros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
