Cândido Cabral started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Cabral came free, but Péter Mészáros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the F.C. Paços de Ferreira defense, Cândido Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Péter Mészáros. The F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Péter Mészáros should have stopped the shot. José Bomba took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Long Gang Sen. Long Gang Sen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 9thth minute of the game Cândido Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Péter Mészáros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Péter Mészáros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Paços de Ferreira from getting a goal against them. After 18 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Sanocki. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Emin Sağan managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's supporters rose to their feet, but Emin Sağan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Long Gang Sen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, FC Fura Balizas's Gusmão Benevides ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Péter Mészáros. Péter Mészáros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Inácio Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Long Gang Sen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Emin Sağan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugeniusz Sanocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Péter Mészáros made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Bomba to strike the kick off in the second half. Gusmão Benevides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Mészáros having to interfere. Gusmão Benevides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Péter Mészáros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugeniusz Sanocki in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Péter Mészáros saved F.C. Paços de Ferreira from getting behind. F.C. Paços de Ferreira made a substitution. Nino Moi replaced Luka Modrić. After 69 minutes, Nicolae Hoisie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Paços de Ferreira and the FC Fura Balizas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Nicolae Hoisie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Long Gang Sen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Fura Balizas's Alex Belém was substituted for Cândido Cabral. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Fabrício Travassos was substituted for João Maia. The supporters of FC Fura Balizas booed when F.C. Péter Mészáros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Kamper in the 80th minute of the match. Péter Mészáros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Kamper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. José Maria Freire replaced Cassiano Peralta. Ludwig Kamper blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Péter Mészáros having to make a save. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Kamper, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. José Bomba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Long Gang Sen made a huge save. FC Fura Balizas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of F.C. Paços de Ferreira for a fine match.
