With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Gato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goalkeeper Miguel Poças, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Carlos Garcia took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Miguel Poças to make any attempt to save it. Carlos Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Miguel Poças made a huge save. After 28 played minutes Carlos Garcia rounded F.C. Paços de Ferreira's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 31st match minute, F.C. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. SITIO CITY made a substitution. Fabian Dalman replaced Kajetan Paulista. SITIO CITY's Pierre-Paul Swin was substituted for Chiquinho Pereira.
