In the 2nd minute, AD Oliveirense's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guo Ming fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Joacim First came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by AD Oliveirense's Celedonio Berenguer. But to his dismay, Celedonio Berenguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Júlio César made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Guo Ming sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 13 minutes, Celedonio Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AD Oliveirense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Berenguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joacim First showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Baía, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19 minutes of play, AD Oliveirense's Celedonio Berenguer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joacim First was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Holger Siöberg sped through AD Oliveirense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júlio César. Guo Ming in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Júlio César, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Júlio César managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Pinhote FC's Guo Ming fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute, David Blaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Rosen struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Júlio César didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhote FC. Joacim First showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 贺宽桦 in the 39th minute of the match. Júlio César made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Guo Ming sent off a good shot on target. Pinhote FC's Guo Ming got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Guo Ming managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinhote FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guo Ming was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio César breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Nash to strike the kick off in the second half. Holger Siöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60thth minute of the game Guo Ming who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AD Oliveirense's Júlio César was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Bart Buckinx. Júlio César showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guo Ming, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Júlio César took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holger Siöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AD Oliveirense's Hugo Manso was substituted for 贺宽桦. AD Oliveirense's Marco Fonseca was substituted for Dave Nash. After a rather tough play, AD Oliveirense's Celedonio Berenguer got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes, Alfréd Fenyvessy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AD Oliveirense and the Pinhote FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pinhote FC booed when AD Oliveirense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfréd Fenyvessy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holger Siöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Júlio César tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Blaine kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Espírito Santo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joacim First prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute AD Oliveirense were awarded a corner. Fabrício Baía went to the cornerflag to take it. AD Oliveirense's Fabrício Baía was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joacim First in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 94thth minute of the game Guo Ming who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AD Oliveirense's Júlio César was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AD Oliveirense walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
