Martin Lindman hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Barto Sánchez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vito de Godoi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 6 minutes, Jiang Qing Lin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Beatriz 08's Eurico lago tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Júlio Gentil came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Matos Velhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Gentil couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jiang Qing Lin during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute of the match Ronald Hurt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vito de Godoi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vito de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Barto Sánchez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Beatriz 08's Barto Sánchez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Bomba in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Júlio Gentil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Eanes hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Eurico lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Böcklund in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Gentil to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match, Altino Palha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vito de Godoi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eurico lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Gentil in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 played minutes FC Beatriz 08 got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Graziani.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Sabino Vilhena tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eurico lago saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 60th minute Pepe Bomba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Candal in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Barto Sánchez came free, but Vito de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico lago was a little too slow when Jiang Qing Lin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-3. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barto Sánchez in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Qing Lin in the 76th minute of play forced FC Beatriz 08's goalkeeper Eurico lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiang Yan Feng might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vito de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiang Yan Feng ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Durval Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Barto Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 84 in the game by Júlio Gentil from a close distance when the talented Eurico lago managed to make a qualified save. FC Beatriz 08's players were relieved. 85 minutes into the match, FC Beatriz 08's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Nietlisbach came free, but Eurico lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Hutchins during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Matos Velhos booed when FC Beatriz 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Hutchins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eurico lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Gentil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Eanes lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 93rd minute, Rui Eanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Beatriz 08 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matos Velhos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
