AM United's David Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gentil in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Júlio Gentil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Sabino Vilhena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of David Bastos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. AM United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Sabino Vilhena scored to the left of an out of position David Bastos, making the score, 1-0. Adalberto Peres struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. David Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matos Velhos. David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Gentil in the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Candal came free, but David Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Jiang Qing Lin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of AM United booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Gentil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Freire went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
