When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Ricardo Guerra put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pankracy Zajonc. 10 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's Wu Liang Mo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Zajonc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Guerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pankracy Zajonc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Guerra ran back to his position shaking his head. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 13th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Ricardo Guerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pankracy Zajonc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Januário Rangel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pankracy Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Januário Rangel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in MZ Fénix's zone, Ricardo Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Zajonc came out of the goal and Ricardo Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Cai Yuan Yuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Vygantas Petrošius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Zajonc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Januário Rangel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Guerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cai Yuan Yuan notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel. Januário Rangel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the MEXACOMX defense, Cai Yuan Yuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Januário Rangel. The MEXACOMX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Januário Rangel should have stopped the shot. Wu Liang Mo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Pankracy Zajonc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MEXACOMX. Cai Yuan Yuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januário Rangel having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cai Yuan Yuan took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Januário Rangel. Januário Rangel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. MEXACOMX made a substitution. Tomás Jordão replaced Ricardo Guerra. Januário Rangel came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan. But to his dismay, Cai Yuan Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. 81 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Yuan Yuan came free, but Januário Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 84th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Alexandre Valido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pankracy Zajonc made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tomás Jordão sent off a good shot on target. MZ Fénix's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
