Loukianos Livas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute Simão Boaventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ponte do Carro's Loukianos Livas in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MEXACOMX's goalie prevented a goal. Ricardo Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Julio-César Romo-Leroux went to the cornerflag to take it. 24 minutes into the match, Ricardo Guerra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of André Carmo, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Ricardo Guerra put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of André Carmo. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper André Carmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 minutes Ponte do Carro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julio-César Romo-Leroux who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's Maurício Meireles got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 34th minute, MEXACOMX's Maurício Meireles fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. If Loukianos Livas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but André Carmo made a huge save. When Ponte do Carro's Palmiro Leite in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MEXACOMX's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loukianos Livas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Januário Rangel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loukianos Livas's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Januário Rangel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ponte do Carro's Loukianos Livas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. André Carmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Simão Boaventura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Januário Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 62nd minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper André Carmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Guerra came free, but André Carmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Guerra took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Carmo. André Carmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ponte do Carro's Ricardo Peixoto was substituted for Adélio Brites. André Carmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra in the 77th minute of play. André Carmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match MEXACOMX got a corner. Ponte do Carro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julio-César Romo-Leroux ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Julio-César Romo-Leroux almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ponte do Carro's André Carmo did a great save. Ricardo Guerra scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Carmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ponte do Carro's Gonçalo Quaresma got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 96 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Carvalhal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MEXACOMX had won after a very even match.
