The corner was taken by Adelino Palma in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Freire came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Teodoro Freire elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
