It was a well-played corner which Radamel Falcao managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to AM United getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pierre-Olivier Ortiz hit a great ball. FC Beatriz 08's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Teodoro Freire scored to the left of an out of position Abel Meira, making the score, 2-0. Abel Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Fontes in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Teodoro Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Meira. FC Beatriz 08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Teodoro Freire struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Abel Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AM United. Abel Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Freire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abel Meira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Freire in the 78th minute of the match. Teodoro Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Abel Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teodoro Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oso Cienfuegos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Adelino Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
