In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper André Carmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Boaventura got free with Lisandro Festas in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Carmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Ribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Gil Vilhena kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. André Carmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SLB TELHA's Lisandro Festas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Boaventura in the 17th minute of play. If Liboslav Krušina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Festas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Livas in the 24th minute of play. Lisandro Festas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Boaventura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Festas made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Alcino Jesus sent off a good shot on target. Lisandro Festas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luís Falcão. In the 38th minute, Luís Ribas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Ribas might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Carmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Ribas ran back to his position shaking his head. Ponte do Carro's André Carmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Ribas in the 42nd minute of play. Lisandro Festas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Boaventura in the 43rd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loukianos Livas made a kick off. Luís Ribas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. André Carmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SLB TELHA. After 52 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Gil Vilhena. In the 55th minute, Loukianos Livas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ponte do Carro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 64th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Vilhena to maneuver through the defense. André Carmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Ribas in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcino Jesus to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Palmiro Leite suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 74 minutes, Hugo Tomé mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SLB TELHA and the Ponte do Carro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Tomé didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Marinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Carmo. Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ponte do Carro's zone, Luís Ribas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Carmo came out of the goal and Luís Ribas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Festas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loukianos Livas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Festas saved SLB TELHA from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Ribas came free, but André Carmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Tomé kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alcino Jesus in the 92nd minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Lisandro Festas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Chesus. After 96 minutes, Isaac Chesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SLB TELHA and the Ponte do Carro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Isaac Chesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ponte do Carro had won after a very even match.
