Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alcino Santiago made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Homero Cerqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademar Azevedo. Sporting Clube Patrício's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Homero Cerqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marius Søndenå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Souto in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Silvério Quadros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SEGAFREDO CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alcino Santiago. Marius Søndenå showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Binne Koppermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Binne Koppermann might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marius Søndenå. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Binne Koppermann ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Binne Koppermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Søndenå saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Binne Koppermann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marius Søndenå read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by SEGAFREDO CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zeferino Cardoso was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Clube Patrício's players had a chance to rest. Sporting Clube Patrício's Binne Koppermann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marius Søndenå in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 31 minutes into the game, Binne Koppermann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marius Søndenå was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Binne Koppermann in the 36th minute of play forced SEGAFREDO CF's goalkeeper Marius Søndenå to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SEGAFREDO CF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Teodoro Águas hit a great ball. SEGAFREDO CF's Marius Søndenå played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeferino Cardoso in the 38th minute of play. Paulo Palma hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Marius Søndenå came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube Patrício's Binne Koppermann. But to his dismay, Binne Koppermann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in SEGAFREDO CF's zone, Binne Koppermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Søndenå came out of the goal and Binne Koppermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Binne Koppermann made a kick off. Paulo Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marius Søndenå tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, one of Sporting Clube Patrício:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sporting Clube Patrício. Sporting Clube Patrício:s Ademar Azevedo showed great skill when he stopped Fábio Gusmão:s penalty. After 66 minutes of play, SEGAFREDO CF's Fábio Gusmão made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademar Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Binne Koppermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Binne Koppermann might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marius Søndenå. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Binne Koppermann ran back to his position shaking his head. SEGAFREDO CF's Marius Søndenå played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binne Koppermann in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes in the game Paulo Palma did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Silvério Quadros. If Binne Koppermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
