In the last second Ademar Azevedo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Trifon Katsoulis in the 3rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Paulo Assis hit a great ball. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trifon Katsoulis in the 10th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Adriano Ramires elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Jürgen Behnke came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Andarilhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jürgen Behnke couldn't finish the play. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Patrício from getting a goal against them. If Fu Han Qiang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bento Souto hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Fu Han Qiang came free, but Ademar Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Trifon Katsoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fu Han Qiang made a kick off. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube Patrício defense, Fu Han Qiang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Azevedo. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Ademar Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Han Qiang in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's Binne Koppermann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Oblak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 minutes Andarilhos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Noronha who took care of the corner kick. Jon Oblak made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Binne Koppermann sent off a good shot on target. When Sporting Clube Patrício's Binne Koppermann in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 79th minute, Fu Han Qiang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andarilhos's Andrzej Zawaski was substituted for Trifon Katsoulis. Ademar Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Zawaski in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Mauro Alcântara hit a great ball. Binne Koppermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jon Oblak made a huge save. Sporting Clube Patrício's Binne Koppermann got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Ramires, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Jürgen Behnke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Andarilhos were the better team. Andarilhos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
