Academia Monte Gordo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Horaţiu Bacalbașa scored to the left of an out of position Mao Zhen Hong, making the score, 1-0. Bacardi Black Bats's attentive Marcelito Silva managed to snatch the ball when Luciano Tiso made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Bacalbașa got free with Mao Zhen Hong in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Lustosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Lustosa in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Fabrício Lustosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mao Zhen Hong made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Horaţiu Bacalbașa sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th match minute, Academia Monte Gordo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arana Ponta to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Fabrício Lustosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia Monte Gordo's Pascual Mouricio got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horaţiu Bacalbașa to make the kick off. Artur Brudzisz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fryderyk Grucza in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's Fryderyk Grucza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Brudzisz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Bacardi Black Bats got a freekick which was hit by Marcelito Silva. Luciano Tiso kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Bacardi Black Bats booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Academia Monte Gordo defense, Horaţiu Bacalbașa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mao Zhen Hong. The Academia Monte Gordo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mao Zhen Hong should have stopped the shot. Fryderyk Grucza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Brudzisz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Bacardi Black Bats's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Fryderyk Grucza scored to the left of an out of position Artur Brudzisz, making the score, 3-1. Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Dinei Sergipano replaced Adérito Abreu. Fryderyk Grucza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Brudzisz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, one of Bacardi Black Bats:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fryderyk Grucza scored 3-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Brudzisz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fryderyk Grucza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Brudzisz came out and tried to block the shot, but Fryderyk Grucza slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Bacardi Black Bats's Wojciech Grunwalski got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After taking down the ball on Academia Monte Gordo's corner Luciano Tiso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artur Brudzisz quite easily take care of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
