Ademar Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's Fabrício Lustosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ademar Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabrício Lustosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ademar Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Lustosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Luciano Tiso in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sporting Clube Patrício's Zeferino Cardoso. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrício Lustosa in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Academia Monte Gordo's Fabrício Lustosa in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Clube Patrício's goalie prevented a goal. Ademar Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Lustosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Lustosa in the 23rd minute of play. Tomás Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mao Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong got control of the ball when Tomás Portugal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Lustosa in the 34th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Portugal in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mao Zhen Hong, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 35th play minutes Tomás Portugal shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Mao Zhen Hong and just under the crossbar into goal. Tomás Portugal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Mao Zhen Hong made a huge save. When Zeferino Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube Patrício's protests and gave Zeferino Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 49th match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeferino Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Grucza, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 56th minute, Fryderyk Grucza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fryderyk Grucza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ademar Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's Fryderyk Grucza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ademar Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Patrício from getting a goal against them. Tomás Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mao Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarco Lameiras in the 88th minute of play. Tomás Portugal scored 2-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mao Zhen Hong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Lages made in the 96th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Salvador Bragança however managed to control. When the match was over Academia Monte Gordo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Clube Patrício throughout the match.
