In the 32nd minute Leukothoe Atsidakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Nechifor Isbășoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jerónimo Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KINDERUZ's Isidoro Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leukothoe Atsidakos in the 42nd minute of play. Isidoro Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Olo got free with Edwin van der Sar in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lourenço Gomes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodosio Olo was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Jakub Szczepanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Nóbrega made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Leukothoe Atsidakos sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, KINDERUZ's Avelino Varanda got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Bernardo lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bernardo lago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Nóbrega was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. When Teodosio Olo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Edwin van der Sar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Isidoro Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo lago in the 89th minute of play.
